Can I bring food?
You are more than welcome to pack a meal and/or snack as long as there are no nut products. All meals brought from home cannot be refrigerated or heated. Please provide appropriate insulated packaging for food brought from home. You can read more about meals and snacks here.

Who can pick up my child?
Upon arrival, the acting manager will put an number label on your child and the parent will receive the same label, which will be needed when picking up. The manager will accompany the child to the classroom. When picking up your child, the manager will verify the parent by their photo ID and the numbered label that was given to them when they dropped off their child. Unless an alternate arrangement has been made beforehand, only the parents listed on the account can pick up the child.

What about the staff?
Our staff is made up of fun, caring and passionate individuals with one common goal: to provide a positive and safe experience for all the children in their care. All teachers will be pre-screened with a thorough background check, including a criminal record check with the Bureau of Criminal Investigation. At all times, there will be a teacher on duty who is certified in CPR, First Aid, communicable disease, and child abuse recognition and prevention.

How often do you do diaper changes?
We regularly change diapers throughout the day. We have diaper change and potty break every hour and a half. All children in diapers or who need a little assistance in the restroom will be changed and/or taken to the restroom at this time. We ask that your provide a diaper bag with diapers and wipes, along with extra clothes for children who are still training. If you forget or run out of diapers or wipes, don't worry! We have diapers in house for an additional $1.00 each.

Can I drop off my kids whenever I need to?
Time To Play Drop-In Child Care center is a place where kids have a fun, enriching and safe place to play, which means parents have flexible childcare whenever they need it!

What do I need to do to sign up?
The registration process is easy. The first step is to fill out our registration form. This can either be found on our website under "Enrollment Forms," at the links above, or at the center. It typically takes about 10-15 minutes to fill out. You can drop off your paperwork beforehand or bring it in on your first intended visit. For children that seem a little more apprehensive about their first time here, we encourage you to bring them by a little early for a personal tour from one of our helpful staff members.

Where will my child be?
We care for children ranging from 6 weeks old to 12 years old. For the safety of all children in our care, we have separate age appropriate, fun-filled areas.

What about food?
Catered meals are $6.00, to be paid at drop off. Lunch is served at 12pm, and is to be ordered by 11am. If a child arrives after 12:30pm, he or she will be given another opportunity to eat at 3pm. On Saturday dinner is at 6pm, to be ordered by 5pm. If the child arrives after 6:30pm they will not have another opportunity to eat until snack at 8pm. Children attending between the hours of 11am through 1:30pm will be required to pack a lunch. We are required to supplement every child without a lunch during these times. There will be a charge for supplemental meals. Snacks will be provided, at no cost, at 10am, 3pm, and 8pm. Snacks will consist of prepackaged finger foods, along with juice or water.

Do we need to make reservations?

You are more than welcome to drop off your children anytime you need us. For special occasions, we do recommend making a reservation to guarantee space, especially on Friday and Saturday evenings. You can click here to make your reservation!

Is there nap time at Time To Play?Due to the fact that many of our children have different schedules and are typically here for only short periods of time, we do not have a designated nap time. If you let us know that you would like your  child to nap, we will certainly do our best. If your child will be here in the evening and may get sleepy, you are welcome to provide pajamas/sleepwear for your child to make the transition easier upon returning home.

How safe and secure is your facility?
Keeping the children in our care safe is a top priority. Our play entrance is a controlled access entry. We encourage parents to stop by for information and tours; as a safety precaution the front office may request a valid state photo ID. Only staff is permitted in the play areas on a regular basis. For further security, our center is equipped with security cameras focused on the entry and exit of the facility and in each room excluding private areas such as restrooms.

What happens if I'm late?
In the event that you are unable to pick up your child by the centers' closing time, there will be a fee of $3.00 per minute per child added to your total. For example if you have 2 children and arrive 10 minutes after the center has closed, there will be an additional $60. charged in addition to the total accumulated for that stay.
